• Awesome Music: The campaign uses Borislav Slavov's beautiful soundtrack for the game itself for atmosphere.

• Ho Yay: Considering the game takes place in an Everyone Is Bi (or pansexual) scenario, this isn't surprising. Like in the game itself, Astarion and Gale's relationship alternates between Astarion treating Gale as a Butt-Monkey one moment, flirting with him the next.
  Astarion: "So I was thinking—"
  Gale: "Not again. He's got the baby oil out—"
  Astarion [stroking his shoulder]: "Just to ease the tension, darling."
  • Karlach and Astarion both flirt with a disguised Gale in the second episode, though Astarion stops the second he recognizes the stitching on his boots...
• Moment of Awesome: Astarion making sure that the last thing the clone Bodhi sees before she dies is him cackling maniacally and double Flipping the Bird.
• One of Us: It's clear Neil Newbon (Astarion) has knowledge of either the previous games or D&D lore in general (which he discusses a little in this interview), such as namedropping Neverwinter, knowing the Shadow Thieves aren't fond of vampires, and knowing who Drizzt Do'Urden is, which he sprinkles into Astarion's conversations. Considering he's also playing the oldest, most street-savvy member of the party, it adds a lot to his roleplay.
