• Aluminum Christmas Trees: The fire-ice in Lost Paradise sounds like something invented for the game; however, as one of the fact cards reveals, it's actually a substance which exists in real life. Just as in the game, it's believed that it could potentially solve the world's energy needs. Unfortunately, because it's only known to exist at the bottom of the ocean, extracting it is currently next to impossible.
• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: The transfer of the series to Domini Games seems to have met with this sort of response from some players, as the reviews of The Price of Paradise are considerably lower than those of previous installments. Many complained about the removal of several hallmarks of the series, such as the fact cards. Reign of Flames, the second offering from that developer in this series, garnered even more criticism. With the release of A King's Line, Domini seems to have redeemed themselves with at least some of the reviewers, who praise the unique take on Arthuriana.
