• Designated Hero: While Snoopy is meant to be seen as sympathetic for all he goes through in the special, it loses his sympathy when everything that happened to him was his fault. Him being sentenced to obedience school was because he was being a little asshole terrorizing the neighborhood kids for no reason, and Peppermint Patty has a valid reason to make Snoopy work around the house due to him mooching off her for a week.
• Unintentionally Sympathetic: Even though Peppermint Patty was being harsh with Snoopy having him do the chores around the house and banishing him to garage, one has to admit it is semi-justified given context, as she spent a whole week of Snoopy treating her as servant and overstaying his welcome, not to mention her punishing him to the garage was due to him breaking the dishes out of his own anger.
