• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The fight between Misty Knight and Colleen Wing against a villain named "The Toddler". Don't ask.
• Nightmare Fuel: During World War Hulk, Tarantula and Coleen Wing were both taken prisoner by Miek and tortured with bugs that fed on pain. Tarantula was reduced to a helpless, sobbing wreck, while Coleen could barely walk, visibly traumatized and barely able to function.
  • Later on, Shang-Chi mercy-kills Humbug, who had been badly mutated by a combination of Brood's spawn and Earth's hive taking over his body. (It was also a partial revenge kill, as Shang-Chi had fallen for Tarantula and while begging for death, Humbug insulted her.)
