YMMV / Herb Alpert

Go To

  • Covered Up: "Whipped Cream" was written by Allen Toussaint (for legal reasons, it's credited to Naomi Neville, which was his mother's maiden name) and was first recorded by his band The Stokes. The Tijuana Brass version copies it closely, but the Stokes' version has more of a New Orleans feel.
  • Narm Charm: Herb's singing on "This Guy's In Love With You". It's clear he isn't a trained vocalist, but it absolutely works to the song's advantage. Giving Herb an Adorkable energy.
