  • Awesome Music:
  • Critical Dissonance: Despite a rather tepid critical response (with just 27% on Rotten Tomatoes) the audiences seem to have a much, much warmer reception of it (87% on Rotten Tomatoes).
  • Esoteric Happy Ending: The ending has the heroes fail at stopping a obscenely powerful demon from being reborn in human flesh, at the cost of Gabriella's sanity and feelings for Daimon, but are together and hoping to raise the demon to be a good person, only for said demon to be taken by her demon father. It can come across as far more on the bitter than the sweet side of Bittersweet Ending.
  • The Firefly Effect: The dissolution of Marvel Television shortly before filming began seriously hampered interest in the project and its potential future, with it being clear that it would have no impact on Marvel's other streaming plans. The fact that shortly before release it was officially declared noncanonical to the MCU didn't help.
  • Friendly Fandoms: An easy rapport between the fandoms of this show was established between it and Constantine. Both were supernatural horror comic book adaptations that lasted only one season before getting the axe.
  • Funny Moments:
    • The exorcism in episode 1. Daimon reveals the "possessed" kid is just putting on an act by sprinkling fake holy water on him. He then mocks him for how cliched his act was and tells him to clean the feces off the wall with bleach.
    • Apparently at least one of the writers isn't a fan of Elon Musk.
Daimon: What kind of person buys this shit?
Ana: The same kind of idiot who sends cars to space.
    • Ana says that Gabriella looks more like a Naughty Nun than an actual nun.
  • He Really Can Act: While the show has received a fair amount of criticism, Elizabeth Marvel's portrayal of Victoria Helstrom has received praise across the board.
  • Too Bleak, Stopped Caring: The show is a pretty grim Dysfunction Junction in which the heroes are practically always fighting a losing battle against neverending evil (which is actually a major plot point even In-Universe). Some can be turned off on that account.
