- Never Live It Down: Supergirl is tricked into siding with H'el, changing sides as soon as his real plan is revealed. Even so, fans spent years claiming that "New 52 Supergirl wanted to destroy Earth to bring Krypton back".
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: H'el is a pretty generic villain for someone who was purported to be Superman's adoptive brother.
