- Awesome Moments: While it's not really dwelt on in the narrative, the way Miss Sneezy escaped the medical facility: she walked across the bottom of Hudson Bay using her hazmat suit to provide her with oxygen.
- Crosses the Line Twice: Comrade Snarky unknowingly eating flesh that was cut from her body while she was comatose? Horrific. Her recognising her own tattoo crosses it over into the surreal. Her stunned question: "You fed me my own ass?" Darkly hilarious.
- Funny Moments: "Guts" has a funny moment before all the horror. The narrator recounts the tale of a friend who tried to hide the carrot and Vaseline he was buying to masturbate with among other purchases, including eggs and sugar: "Like he's going home to stick a carrot cake up his butt."
- Squick:
- It really deserves its own page. The book contains, among other lovely things, the very detailed and extended description of the rotting of a corpse.
- The short story "Guts." There just isn't enough Brain Bleach.
- Director Denial's story starts with a social worker practicing CPR on a dummy which turns out to be full of semen. From more than one man. Collected during a considerable period of time.
