• Common Knowledge: One of the characters, Andy, was initially assumed to be Muffy and Player Character Mark's son from A Wonderful Life—this was considered unusual, since none of the children are "canon". However, the official website clarified through dialogue that Andy's mother owns and works the farm he helps on. Furthermore, his profile◊ and blue-eyed appearance heavily implies he's actually the son of female Player Character Claire.
• Unexpected Character:
  • The game contains the normal cast of popular and contemporary characters from older games such as Harvest Moon 64, Magical Melody, and others. It also contains Choco from Harvest Moon 2 for Game Boy Color and Sara, who was from the Game Boy titles. Both characters were Put on the Bus nearly a decade prior and never appear outside of their games.
  • Several characters like Karen, Elli, and Gray appear. That's not surprising considering their popularity. What is surprising is that they're the Harvest Moon 64 incarnations, not the more well-known Back to Nature ones.
