• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Hard Hat 2 had a boss named Baseball Man- a baseball-themed robot master fought in a sports-themed stage. Cue Mega Man 10, and we now have Strike Man- a baseball themed robot master fought in a sports-themed stage.
  • The same game has Acid Man. Mega Man 11 has a canon one.
  • Hard Hat 2's Chainsaw Man shares his name with a very popular manga that came out several years later.
• Surprisingly Improved Sequel: From Hard Hat 2 to 3, the graphics see an upgrade, the physics improve, and the shots look much more satisfying and less ugly.
