YMMV / Granado Espada

  • Demonic Spiders: Played straight with most top-tier raids, with bosses (and even their spawns, God forbid you having a horde of them at you) possessing high ATK Rating and ATK stats being able to chase down anything and One-Hit Kill even tanks. Not so much with normal mobs in high-spawn areas nowadays, since it's minimum that you're One-Hit or Two-Hit Killing them when training.
  • Ho Yay: Garcia with Raven/Eduardo. There's a lot of Garcia/Raven Ship Tease in the story, however, fans may attribute Garcia/Eduardo at how obsessed Garcia is in finding his brother.
  • Memetic Molester: VINCENT'S RAPING EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Fridge Logic: Grace Bernelli's personal skill Marksmanship. It boosts the damage and penetrating abilities of nearby shooters; it affects pistols, rifles, shotguns and even CROSSBOWS. How a crossbow is classified as a gun is unknown.
  • Game-Breaker: Hands down, the Meteorite skill from Wizard's Telekinesis stance in PvP. Though blockable (sword-only can do this too with Equites), even the most armored of characters cry under its sheer damage, and it doesn't even need that much of a weapon to start swatting everyone down like flies. It also boasts one of the biggest AoEs in the game, and can be cast from a far range, so trying to run away from the area or running towards the caster to try and break the casting is a tall order, more so that there are cast time reduction modifiers.
    • Lisa's personal skill Grinding in PvE, when paired with a Strata-class dagger, can shred a target's DEF Rating (which determines the chance of an incoming attack hitting or missing) by a total of 5, 6 if paired with Idge, which means massive DPS gains for end-tier bosses.
    • Darkness stance's Whole Cancellation and Telekinesis stance's Eraser in PvE. Both do the same thing, remove the buffs of any enemy within the area and disallow them all access to any skill. This means an easier tanking job for the tank, and no AoEs for the DPS characters to worry about.
  • Visual Effects of Awesome: If there's anything most critics agree on, it's that this game had gorgeous visuals and art direction for something that was released around the same time as World of Warcraft. It looked like something from an early Playstation 3 game.
