• Base-Breaking Character: Tidepaw is either the best character, or over-angsty and annoying.
• Ensemble Dark Horse:
  • A poll showed Sunstorm to be one of the most popular characters. At the time it was conducted, he had spoken all of twelve lines, and yet was just as popular as Snowcloud (Darkclaw's best friend and Leafkit's soon-to-be mentor) and Rainpaw (Tidepaw's best friend).
  • Several people immediately latched on to Whitefeather, a minor character who made her debut in Chapter 3.
• Rescued from the Scrappy Heap: Some people that hated Leafkit had their opinions of her changed with her character development in Chapter 9.
• The Scrappy: Slash, Bonetail's Dragon is hated by some readers due to his interactions with Leafkit killing the tone in Chapter 3.
