• Heartwarming Moments:
  • Marzipan's first meeting with Grizz involves her removing a splinter from his fur. Keep note that she just met him and was initially scared of him, so the fact she helped relieve him of his pain is very sweet.
  • Grizz's Big Damn Heroes moment is as awesome as it is sweet as he protects Marzipan from the wolves. It shows that Marzipan's kindness meant a lot to him.
• Nightmare Fuel: When Marzipan has a run in with the wolves, she is understandably terrified as they make their motivation to eat her clear.
• So Okay, It's Average: General consensus is that it's a decent holiday flick that doesn't bring much new or exciting to the table.
• Tear Jerker: After an elf foolishly brings up Grizz being on the naughty list, Grizz loses his composure which causes him to believe himself to be Beyond Redemption in spite of Marzipan's insistence that he is good.
• Viewer Species Confusion: Grizz is stated throughout the movie to be a grizzly bear even though he looks more like a polar bear which most viewers believed him to be.
