• Badass Decay:
  • While the Turtles were hit with Adaptational Wimp already, in Coming Out of Their Shells they actually got one fight scene and were able to save the day. Here there is only one fight scene... and it's when they have Casey fight for them.
  • Most versions of the Shredder are skilled fighters who take coordinated attacks from multiple fighters (even when Flanderization makes him goofier and less competent) to pose enough of a threat to him. Even in Coming Out of Their Shells, it took all four of the Turtles working together to banish Shredder to a Prison Dimension. Here though, Casey Jones manages to win in a fight against him barehanded.
• Fight Scene Failure: Casey vs. Shredder. Never mind the fact that Casey Jones (an Unskilled, but Strong brute who typically relies on his weapons) manages to fight a martial-arts master in hand-to-hand combat, the sound effects of them hitting each other are poorly synced, their pantomimed fist-throwing is painfully obvious, there is no music playing in this concert and the Turtles throwing him in a trash-can somehow sends him back to the Prison Dimension from whence he came.
