- Crosses the Line Twice:
- "La Guerre de 14-18" is a cheerful song about about why Brassens likes all wars, but especially considers the Great War as being the greatest war ever.
- "Le Gorille" is about a horny gorilla escaping from a zoo with the intent of losing his virginity with a female (regardless of species, apparently), and ends up raping a judge because the ape was confused by the judge's robes.
- "Le Mauvais Sujet Repenti" is about a pimp who decides to become straight after catching an STD from his worker, and is appalled that his former worker now offers her services to cops.
- Germans Love David Hasselhoff: His songs (although in translated version) are quite popular in Poland (there is even a play based on them). It helps that both the translation and instrumentation tries to evoke the chanson feeling of the original.
- Squick: "Le Verger du roi Louis" describes a forest full of hanged corpses.
