- Funny Moments:
- The episode where Sophie becomes worldwide famous. The newspapers somehow think instead of a sister, she has a brother. Who's called Amy.
- When Emma's life becomes a spy movie, she ends up dragged to a mission briefing early in the morning and deadpans "I am never gonna get to school."
- In "No Time Like the Future" when Emma and Sophia get accidentally transported 400 years into the future and have to pretend to be androids.
- Spiritual Successor: To I Dream of Jeannie, complete with Adil coming from a family of genies. Also to Sabrina the Teenage Witch with regards to a teenage Inept Mage. One episode where Sophie wishes that her achievements get more recognition - and ends up worldwide famous - is near identical to a Sabrina episode.
- Special Effect Failure: The CGI used was pretty much what you'd expect from a low budget early 2000s children's series.
- Testosterone Brigade: A large portion of the show's viewers were boys who just wanted to drool over Sophie and Emma.
- Unintentional Period Piece: The 'hip' fashions on Sophie and Emma, and the technology in the house (analog televisions, CD players, flip phones, getting news from newspapers) immediately place the show to the mid-2000s. Sophie and Emma at one point dress as parodies of The Cheeky Girls - a Romanian duo who had their heyday in Britain between 2002 and 2004 - which was already a pretty dated reference in 2006.
