YMMV / Gemini Home Entertainment

  • Bizarro Episode: "Plush Promo" features none of the terrifying elements that the series is known for, and is instead a fun and silly promotion for plushie versions of the Gardeners.
  • Funny Moments: The response of the camp staff to entering Barry Johnson's containment cell, with all the Body Horror involved and the subject barely resembling a human?
  • Memetic Mutation: Barry Johnson, while appearing twice in the series, became this on the Discord server.
  • Narm Charm:
    • The animation of the Wretch's hands/legs? in the Camp Information Video can also fall into this category. It is weird, stiff and a little bit goofy. However it certainly emphasizes the Uncanny Valley of the Skinwalkers.
    • As spooky as it is, the idea that the Wretch will patiently wait outside, knocking on the door, and will only attack if let inside, is equally eerie and amusing at the same time.
  • Nausea Fuel: Deep Root Disease, particularly the Sprouting stage and the sounds thereof.
  • Nightmare Retardant: As scary as the Woodcrawlers are, the thought of them needing to watch a VHS tape(!) for tips on how to attack their victims is honestly kinda adorable. Imagine a frustrated Animalistic Abomination calling Gemini Home Entertainment to order an advice tape. One commenter put it best
I love how the text at the beginning implies that Woodcrawlers can get nervous and stressed about invading homes for the first time, to the point of needing a step-by-step instructional video....Is home invasion something that Woodcrawler parents sit their kids down and explain to them, like an eldritch horror version of 'The Talk'?
  • Paranoia Fuel:
    • Woodcrawlers have the tendency to make their nests inside large families' homes, killing their occupants. And they are everywhere. Your neighbors may have been replaced by a nest of spider-like creatures. And you might not even realize it because...
    • ...they've been replaced by Fake People, who look and act like real human beings in order to blend in.
    • In "Wilderness Survival Guide", one of the sounds to avoid is a man screaming for help, calling it an auditory hallucination. It is a ruse used by whatever creature to lure unsuspecting victims and attack them.
      • If the bear's sudden mutation is anything to go by, it also means that animals too can be replaced by fake doppelgangers of themselves.
    • "Games for Kids" shows a police car during the Feed the Woods segment, only for the car's lights to go out and spidery legs to emerge and pull the car down, implying that the Woodcrawlers are either strong enough to move cars or can imitate inanimate objects.
    • In "Deep Root Disease", said disease may be contracted while you sleep.
  • Special Effect Failure: In Camp Information Video, the animation of the Wretch's hands counts as one.
    • The Woodcrawler legs in "World's Weirdest Animals" appear to be painted cardboard cutouts that someone standing on the other side of the door thrust into the shot.
      • This is apparently not the case as Remy revealed the Woodcrawler legs were 100% digital art assets.
    • In general, it's easy to spot when something has been added into the shot. The eeriness and the filming style arguably make up for this.
      • Animation noticeably improved for the Wretch when it appeared in Christmas Eve Party. Perhaps a tad too much.
