- Ensemble Dark Horse: An unusual case since the character's only purpose is to die, but the brother who gets speared off the top of the Wall by Dongo's ballista-sized arrow is one of the most recognizable deaths in the show for how awesome it was.
- One-Scene Wonder: Most named characters are seen a number of times, so this trope is mostly unseen. Three Finger Hobb, though, is only on screen for about five seconds. Long enough to be seen walking with a giant cleaver and burying it in the chest of a Wildling.
- The Scythe counts too, turning the Wildlings climbing the wall into Ludicrous Gibs and Pink Mist.
