  • Awesome Music:
    • It's pretty hard to name any of his songs that don't qualify as this. ASGORE and Pursuit ~ Cornered deserve special mention, however- They both sound almost like they were made for Jonny's style and sound quite absurdly intense and epic.
    • The Playstation Tribute Medley includes a section covering Chop Chop Master Onion's rap from Parappa The Rapper, complete with Master Onion and Parappa's voices intact, resulting in a Rocky-esque and very badass-sounding take on the song.
    • The Drawcia Sorceress/Drawcia Soul dual mix manages to enhance the haunting baroque tone of the former track for it's intro before going all out. The latter track manages to take a chaotic, nightmare inducing track and prove that it was made for metal while keeping faithful to the original tune and adding a new kickass riff to the mix.
    • Jonny finished 2022 with a cover of Live & Learn, which is perhaps one of the best covers on the song ever done.
    • He started 2023 with the intended finisher of 2022, ''Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit'' from Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and not only does he cover the entire song, he even covers A Full-Speed Farewell from the New World as well.
  • Friendly Fandoms: Due to JT Tunes making mashups of various popular remixes, Juno Songs (and sometimes Man on the Internet) and GaMetal fans tend to overlap.
  • Funny Moments:
    • The Bowser puppet signing the opera bits in Final Bowser Battle / Fated Battle.
    • The Playstation Tribute Medley actually includes a metal cover of a track from Bubsy 3D ("Daze of Thunder"). Just to top it off, the visual effects go goofy for the duration of the section.
  • I Am Not Shazam: The creator is named Jonny Atma, the musical project is called GaMetal (formerly Nintendo Experienced Shred).
  • Memetic Mutation:
    • Void Termina When Explanation
    • CITY. ESCAPE. NOW. explanation
  • Moment of Awesome: Wrestle Kingdom 13 had Kenny Omega come out to Johnny's remix of "Hopes and Dreams."
  • Nightmare Fuel: His version of Battle! Giratina, being a cover of an already terrifying song, is obviously this, and is perhaps even more horrifying than the original thanks to the unintelligible MIDI sounds in the background of the original being replaced with raw death metal guitar and all the low-res sound from it being an older song having been taken out. The same goes for the other Legendary Pokemon theme he's done, Deoxys, especially the opening, which sounds like some sort of death march. And then there is Money Machine, a.k.a. Crazy Rolling in Money, which is part of the Dreamland Invasion soundtrack and sounds just as insane and out of control as the original already was.
  • Tear Jerker: While it's soothing and pleasant to listen to, the acoustic cover of Stickerbush Symphony he's done is very melancholy indeed, especially in the later parts, which almost give off a feeling of loss. ASGORE is also quite saddening at parts. And of course, there's the Shimmering Star movement of the Suite: The Star-Conquering Traveler medley, and you know where it's headed when it happens to be a cover of said Sad Battle Music (albeit with the usual metal thrown into the mix).
