YMMV / Futurama S6E10 "The Prisoner of Benda"

Go To

  • Dancing Bear: The episode as a whole is generally considered decent at worst and a high point of the post-revival era at best, but it's the creation of an actual mathematical proof that tends to come up first whenever talking about it.
  • Older Than They Think: Stargate SG-1 already did the non-reversible body-swapping plot eleven years earlier, and even solved the problem with the same method used in this episode.
    • Vice Versa also had a similar body-switching story in which a man and his son wish themselves into each other on a coin that can only be used once. The father eventually gets one of his other sons to reverse the spell.
  • Unintentionally Sympathetic: Fry has something of a moral right to be unattracted to Leela in the Professor's body, considering it would be incest, being both the Professor's distant uncle and grandfather.
