• Alternative Character Interpretation: Was Hermes really oblivious to the fact that Fry was making a pigsty in the workplace since his arrival, to the point of putting him in charge of finding the source? Or was he just lowkey sarcastic, hoping someone else would acknowledge the obvious?
• Crosses the Line Twice: Leela demands Bender promise he won't get behind the wheel without some kind of alcoholic beverage in his hand.
• Genius Bonus: Bender's room number is binary for "$."
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Leela is concerned about Fry living in Bender's apartment and tries to talk him into finding another place to live, to which Fry flirtatiously asks "Is that an invitation?", which Leela points out is very optimistic of him. By the show's third revival in 2023, Leela and Fry are both living in Bender's apartment following their Relationship Upgrade.
