• Funny Moments:
  • Ed tries to warn Winry that Kimblee isn't trustworthy, having heard Hawkeye's recount of the Ishvalan War of Extermination... only to remember that Hawkeye also asked him if he loves Winry. He totally freaks out, and begins reciting the periodic table at top speed to distract himself.
    • Ed's recollection of Hawkeye's question is hilariously exaggerated.
      What Hawkeye actually said: You need to stay focused on living; that's how you'll help Winry. How else can you protect her? I mean, after all, you love her, don't you?
      What Ed remembers Hawkeye saying: Speaking of Winry, you're in love with her, (Winks) aren't you? (Black Hayate laughs evilly)
    • Even better? This is what causes Ed's Love Epiphany, which culminates in him and Winry marrying and having two children at the end of the series.
  • Winry notices that Captain Buccaneer has a special automail right arm, and fangirls over it. Buccaneer isn't too happy that Ed has a beautiful young woman as his mechanic, and completely loses it.
