• Heartwarming in Hindsight: When Chandler notices the similarities between himself and the recently deceased Mr. Heckles, he starts to worry if he'll end up the same way. In the "Flashback" episode, it's revealed that Joey only became Chandler's roommate because Heckles drove away his original candidate. After the "London" two-parter, Chandler and Monica hit it off and eventually get married. And then, in the "Truth About London" episode, Monica admits she was initially looking for Joey out of depression before she ended up when Chandler. Long story short, Heckles himself, accidently AND unintentionally, was the reason Chandler DIDN'T end up like him.
