• Ensemble Dark Horse:
  • Not-So-Harmless Villain Sgt. Bauer.
  • Marko, the partisan who helps infiltrate the German headquarters and later takes on a whole squad of Germans Lescovar has tipped off.
• Funny Moments:
  • Any time SGT Miller gets to talk about what he can do with stuff that goes boom.
  • When a German soldier starts berating Miller (who’s wearing a German uniform and doesn’t speak German), the British specialist improvises by giving the guy an “Oh, piss off” look and then Flipping the Bird. The German is properly offended but not suspicious.
  • Mallory and Barnsby after the last charge detonates in the tunnel near them. Both men are deafened and disoriented by the blast and immediately start shouting at eachother that it didn’t work. Barnsby observes (loudly) that they should get out of there, while Mallory declares that he intends to live long enough to strangle Miller himself. They escape in time to see the dam break, and Mallory’s mood goes from murderous to cheerfully declaring Miller a Magnificent Bastard.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character:
  • Maritza, who has a good arc but is Randomly killed by Lescovar upon seeing he’s a traitor when any Red Shirt could have had that happen.
  • Reynolds, the only survivor of Barnaby's men, but who gets little interaction with Barnaby and an early death.
