• Ass Pull: Wally West and Red Hood are revealed to be The Mole in Chapter 23, something not even hinted at until a few chapters beforehand.
• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: When Doctor Fate and his current avatar (confirmed not to be the same as any named ones from the movies or the comics) shows up in Chapter 16 it's not only basically out of nowhere but also in terms of explanation only assumed by the heroes but not really stated by him if he's fully working with Mephiles/Darkseid or just supports the "order" they'd create a la Injustice 2. It doesn’t help that another Doctor Fate shows up in Chapter 19, leaving the first one unexplained.
• Nightmare Fuel: Chapter 13. Just Chapter 13. Their larvae incubates and hatches inside the corpses of their victims.
