YMMV / Final Fantasy: Endless Nova

• Broken Base: The RPGMaker community were divided by this game. On one side, people who shrugged it off as just another crap Final Fantasy game by some newbie who couldn't even spell (the game is full of odd spelling errors) and stolen assets. On the other, people who thought it was a solid game despite all that because of the amount of features and coding going way beyond what might be expected of a game made in the engine.
• Most Wonderful Sound: Gaining a lot of stat boosts in a battle causes the sound effect for the announcement to stack. Exercise caution when playing with earphones.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Ibis' scene in the ending just shows him as being somebody with a generic fondness for shiny things despite how gallantly he behaves over the course of the game, and unlike the other characters isn't shown to have really grown despite how much of it we see leading up to that point.
