  • Captain Obvious Reveal: Everyone figured out that Beryl was probably going to betray Kirschtaria once he appeared in the trailer looking all shady and evil. Sure enough, that's exactly what happens in the climax.
  • Epileptic Trees: Soon after the chapter release, fans began speculating that longtime franchise boogieman ORT, the Ultimate One of Mercury, was actually the Ultimate One of the Oort Cloud Kotomine mentioned due to their similar names and the Character Material Book, the only real source of info on ORT, questioning not ORT's as an Ultimate One, but rather if it really came from Mercury.
  • He's Just Hiding: Invoked In-Universe example. The Lostbelt ends with Goredolf refusing to have Macarios, Adele, and Musashi listed as KIA in the official reports, instead opting for MIA.
  • Narm: U-Marie's clothing is, quite frankly, impossible to take seriously, and makes her reveal, complete with dramatic music, come across as more of a parody of such scenes than a serious attempt at one. Calling herself "Prime Minister of Earth" doesn't help an iota, either.
  • Player Punch: Musashi sacrifices her existence to seal away Lostbelt Chaos. This is evidenced in the lack of data on her now.
  • Scrappy Mechanic: Many players were not amused as Musashi pulled another Shimousa and returned to her much-loathed position as the forced support Servant. And just to add insult to injury, Mash decides she also wants in on the fun, forcing you to field her several times as well.
  • Shocking Moments: Many, but the biggest one is The Reveal of the Foreign God's identity: Beast VII of the End, or U-Olga Marie.
  • That One Boss: Demeter tends to get this reaction a lot as she has the ability to stack multiple defense buffs (nullifying a lot of potential damage), give herself 50k HP heal/debuff clear/debuff immunity/20k HP regen all in one skill, and fill three NP bars instantly. To top it all off, her first break bar removes all buffs from the party and inflicts 3-turn 3-time buff blocks, making her fight even more hair-pullingly frustrating.
