• Author's Saving Throw: One of the biggest hated changes during Dan Slott's run was the revelation that Franklin Richards wasn't a mutant, that he wanted to be special so badly that he used his cosmic powers to make himself a mutant and that him losing his powers caused him to return to a baseline human, essentially seen as a middle finger to Jonathan Hickman to keep the FF away from X-Men: The Krakoan Age. Issue #18 revealed that, in actuality, Franklin got tired of being a cosmic being and basically played up the whole thing so he could be normal 364 days a year, bringing them out once a year to fix things without anyone knowing.
