• Harsher in Hindsight: The jab at Joaquin Phoenix hits differently now that he is seen as a respected actor, and won an Academy Award for Joker (2019).
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Peter’s last quip about “whatever FOX is limpin’ to the barn with”, was (at the time) an obvious jab at American Dad!, a series given so little attention by the network, it was always last show to air on the Sunday night lineup. Just ten years later, with American Dad long gone from FOX, The Simpsons’ 8/7c time slot grandfathered in since 1994, and Bob's Burgers’ popularity growing by leaps and bounds, it ended up taking Family Guy’s long-held 9/8c slot…meaning Peter is now the last thing FOX is limpin’ to the barn with!
