• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • When Stewie destroys Meg's glasses, she asks Lois why she can't just get laser eye surgery, to which Lois points out how unsafe it is, followed by a Cutaway Gag of Luke using the Force to perform the surgery and accidentally blinding his patient. Lois herself would go blind from a botched laser surgery in a much later episode.
  • Lois, fed up of Peter's antics, says that she feels like she's married to a child, to which Peter points out that if he's a child, then Lois is a pedophile. Not only would Peter himself attempt to marry his own son for a selfish reason in a later episode, but future episodes (the aforementioned one included) would have a Running Gag of Peter being attracted to children.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • The episode's main conflict revolves around Peter trying to make Chris convert to Judaism. The Season 8 episode "Family Goy" reveals that Lois is Jewish on her mother's side, meaning Chris is as well, retroactively making Peter's actions here even more unnecessary.
  • Family Guy is now owned by Disney, which makes the song “I Need A Jew” even more hilarious.
