• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • A throwaway gag that featured a police sniper inadvertently shooting a boy's JFK pez dispenser who took out a RFK pez dispenser and says "Well, at least I still have my Bobby Kennedy pez dispenser," was cut on the DVD release due to John F. Kennedy, Jr.'s death in a plane crash two months later.
  • The flashback of Joe getting paralyzed during his rooftop fight with The Grinch doesn't feel so awesome after watching "Joe's Revenge", which reveals that the story of Joe getting paralyzed during his fight with The Grinch is a lie.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: This is the earliest example of Family Guy making fun of Disney, as when Peter says that baseball is so fun it should "be illegal like copyright infringement", his head morphs into Mickey Mouse. As of 2019, Disney now owns 20th Century Fox, which includes Family Guy itself. Doubly so that as of February 23rd, 2021 in the UK and Europe, Family Guy was added to Disney+! (Under the Star banner)
