- Hilarious in Hindsight: The Cutaway Gag of Peter and Lois' heads on the wall singing "Hooked on a Feeling" is this due to Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), especially since Seth Green voices Howard the Duck in The Stinger.
- Moment of Awesome:
- Chris saving everyone's life.
- A pretty brief moment, but Meg saying "Fuck you!" to Peter was pretty sweet for those who think Meg's abuse and mistreatment has gotten out of hand in the later seasons of the show.
- Tear Jerker: Chris overhearing Peter and Lois talking smack about him and alienating them as a result.
- A brief one, where Chris recites an essay about what his teacher does after school, saying she eats a whole roll of cookie dough, throws it up and puts doll clothes on a sonogram picture.
- The Woobie: Chris. He's struggling enough at school as it is, then he overhear his parents call him stupid, and then he discovers that he hates space camp and wants to go home. All of this happens before he gets launched into space along with the rest of his family, with seemingly no way back.
