Harsher in Hindsight: Chris' rant about the family getting a new dog as soon as Brian dies isn't so funny after what happened in "Life of Brian", in which Brian gets hit by a car, dies, and the family gets a new dog that isn't like Brian at all. True, the Christmas episode erased what happened, but that doesn't make the line any less hurtful in hindsight. On top of that, the entire family (including Chris) actually cried over Brian dying.
Moment of Awesome: Chris telling off Brian by saying that when he dies, they're going to get a real dog that does everything a dog is supposed to do and not be a Soapbox Sadie.
