YMMV / Extinct (2021)

• Moral Event Horizon: Clarence crosses this when he tries to use a bomb to commit genocide on the Flummels.
• Strangled by the Red String: Ed and Dottie's romance seems to come from out of nowhere; they have, at best, two meaningful scenes together before their Big Damn Kiss.
• The Woobie:
  • The Extinctables qualify if you think about it. They're all the last of their respective kinds and are basically quarantined in a space to keep them safe. While they weren't really the focus of the film, Dottie implies that she and her friends have lost most of their loved ones and now only have each other.
  • You can't help feeling sorry for Ed. All he wants is to be accepted, but events (usually caused by his sister, Op) conspire to keep him an outcast.
