- Nightmare Fuel: It's a game about exploring a creepy circus attraction filled with clowns, of course there's gonna be some of this! A few things in particular stand out though:
- The jack-in-the-box. In an entire exhibit full of creepy clown displays this demented bastard manages to be one of the worst, giving the player a quick jumpscare when they turn the crank on his box during their first visit and then outright transforming into some giant horror before lunging at them from the top of the screen during their second visit!
- The portrait clown. Every other character gets a name, except him. He doesn't even have his own exhibit or even a description... he's just there on the wall, waiting patiently for the player to approach him so he can scare them senseless. He's also implied to be stalking the protagonist throughout the game and may have turned a bunch of children into his personal playthings according to some of the background paintings. And all that's before getting to what he does towards the end of the game...
