The title theme is energy-inducing to match the high-energy gameplay, "Canada" has great rock riffs to go with the electronic instruments, "Finland" has good rhythm and leans heavily into the electronic instruments, and "Nebula" is almost ethereal.
• First Installment Wins: The original NES game remains the best known and most popular out of all the Excite games released.
• Memetic Mutation: "I deadass don't know how to respond"^Explanation A commonly-used reaction image, which is an ingame screenshot of Princess Peach holding a white sign, actually originated from the obscure Satellaview game Excitebike: Bun Bun Mario Battle. This specific screenshot, which would normally display the name of a course ingame, was edited to have this caption.
• Unexpected Character: Boulder from Excite Truck is unlockable in Excitebots.
