• It's Short, So It Sucks!: A common complaint towards the first ExZeus is its short length, with only five stages that can be beaten in an afternoon and the lack of incentives to replay the game beyond shooting for high scores given the price for the game itself for its PlayStation 2 and Wii releases. ExZeus 2 addresses this by having more stages that are longer, an expanded upgrade system, and a New Game Plus feature.
