• Moral Event Horizon:
  • Despite this being a strip about supervillains, Evil Atom crosses the line when he pumps Captain Heroic full of radiation before revealing that he knows about Match and his son and will be going after them next in the "Grand Gamer" arc.
  • Parallel Atom crosses this by kidnapping Alt. Match and Alt. Heroic's son Oliver, planning to use his ill body for scientific experiments. It's so bad that Alt. Desdemona pulls a Heel–Face Turn.
• Tear Jerker: Alt. Miss Match reveals to her prime self that she's Secretly Dying thanks to her dimensional travels. Unlike with her son, however, there's no cure for Alt Miss Match. She also begs prime Miss Match to not tell anyone, because her Captain Heroic has already lost enough.
