• Harsher in Hindsight: The fact that Nick is only fired for possibly sexually assaulting a coworker, and then exonerated because she had made similar accusations before makes it much harder to sympathize with him in wake of the #Me Too movement. Particularly since he has a very sketchy past and even admits that he doesn’t remember any of the events of that particular night.
• He Really Can Act: Will Ferrell plays a far more subdued character than he is associated with and gives a scarily realistic portrayal of an alcoholic.
