- Cheese Strategy: Invoked against Croco. After landing two hits on him, Croco will jump to the right of the screen and throw a barrage of spike balls so big that it is near impossible to survive. The player has to go all the way to the right of the screen where the end up behind Croco making it where his barrage of spike balls won't hit them. Beating Croco without doing this and dodging the barrage instead awards an achievement.
- Crosses the Line Twice: Quite a few of the traps are known to elicit laughter from many players.
- Fridge Brilliance: Farta the troll will probably confuse you when you see her, since she looks like a fairy rather than a traditional troll. But then you realize the truth behind her title: she is actually the other type of troll.
- Paranoia Fuel: Like with any Platform Hell game, you'll quickly learn to never trust anything that's on-screen.
- Scrappy Mechanic: The elaborate death animations and endless inverted life counting screen that appears every time you die violates one of the core principles of the Platform Hell genre — in a game where you can die literal seconds after starting a level, the game has to minimise the amount of time it takes to get back into the action again to avoid frustration.
- Spiritual Licensee: It's basically Shobon no Action with an original IP.
