• Anvilicious: A character disparages gay people, and Shashi rebuts him by saying "people may be different but heartache is the same".
• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The entire song "Manhattan", showing random stuff like a cat sitting on a guy's head, random women's legs, a beggar, some guy cosplaying as Edward Scissorshands, and a sequence of different types of coffee and different department stores in New York. None of these have anything to do with the plot.
