  • Fanon: The game makes full use of Canon Fodder to fill in gaps of things barely hinted at in the two Elibe games, including the entire Ilian mercenary system, the relationship between Hector and his half-brother Orun (and the appearance of the latter), how Karel calmed down, and who was really responsible for the downfall of House Cornwell.
  • Funny Moments: A future feature of the game will allow players to take "creative liberties" with a tale after beating it once. Leading to scenes like this:
Jacob: And then, out of nowhere, Eliwood's majestic white pony materialized beneath him...
  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
    • Lyn and Rath's tales focus on an archer who is driven mad by a combination of the deaths of his parents and the manipulation of an evil sorcerer, who wants revenge on one of the main characters, gets a unique bow as an enemy, and dies thanking the heroes for allowing him peace. Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest's endgame focuses on an archer who is driven mad by a combination of the death of his mother and the manipulation of an evil dragon, who wants revenge on one of the main characters, gets a unique bow as an enemy, and dies thanking the heroes for allowing him peace.
    • Another example is class-wise - one of the now-changed classes was a Sagittary, which the developer wanted to change due to being essentially a Palette Swap of Sniper class. An inspiration came from a glitch that accidentally gave a generic Sagittary A rank in Staves. Cue Fire Emblem Fates revealing almost three months later that one of its classes is Adventurer - a Bow and Staff using class.
