  • Finally, there is a Happy Ending. The fort has been destroyed, there are no more Ellos or Manos, and the few Zarpos that escaped the disaster will simply die in time: they have short lifespans and can not reproduce. But what about the Gurbos, who were living on the wild now? Somehow, they all died when the fort was destroyed.
  • All the alien tech of the invaders is gone. And yet, by the end of the story Germán and Juan are back in 1976. Another Cronomaster at work? Where? Who operated it? There is no answer... not even in the third part, that picks after the ending of the second.
• Badass Decay: In the first series there's nothing that can stop the Gurbos, period.^note Except, of course, for the Mano's otherworldly weapons Only chance is to have them freed from the Mano's control, and hope that they are busy enough fighting themselves to notice you. In the sequel they can be defeated by the Zarpos, by a flamethrower, and even by a pack of wild dogs.
