• Alternative Character Interpretation:
  • The kids laughed after Eddy saw that his name was replaced with Carl in "Carl is a no neck chump," but are surprised to see Eddy (disguised as Carl) running off. Were they laughing because they knew that someone wrote Carl's name and that Eddy was the one actually being insulted, or were they just laughing about something else?
  • Does Carl have shades of Eddy's actual personality, or is it an act Eddy's putting up in order to be accepted by the kids? The movie hints it might be the former.
  • Double D writing the names of Eddy's personas on the original No-Neck Chump graffiti, which caused Eddy's act to ultimately be exposed. Was he really doing it for Eddy's own good so he didn't completely lose himself to Carl, or was he just mad Eddy dumped him and Ed once Carl proved to be far more popular with the other kids, and ruined Eddy's popularity out of spite?
