• Aluminum Christmas Trees: Ed’s fear of soap is something the show made up right? Wrong. Ed’s fear of soap is a very real phobia called "Ablutophobia", also known as the fear of bathing.
• Catharsis Factor: Seeing the Kankers take out their usual shenanigans on the Cul-de-Sac kids instead of the Eds for a change is quite nice after all the times they got away with Disproportionate Retribution to the Eds in the past. Even when the Kankers do come after the Eds after finding out Ed has their ship in a bottle, they don't harass the Eds for a change, merely content to leave with their bottle returned. Even though the ending implies Ed would idiotically be trying to get the Kankers back after Eddy gets his finger stuck, we at least thankfully don't get to see it for a change.
