Inverted. Considering it's supposed to be a representation of all First-Person Shooter games and Third-Person Shooter games for good measure, adding in comments about the horrid nature of elements that are in the advertised game does not really help.
The thematic aspects of Call of Duty this game parodies were already subverted in the Modern Warfare series. For instance, at no point in the series does America Save the Day singlehandedly, and it's rendered ambiguous whether the United States is the victim or the aggressor.
