• Angst? What Angst?: Skadi's upbringing and exile was extremely harsh, but she's still remarkably perky for a bloodthirsty barbarian.
• Ending Fatigue: While the author made his own ending to the series, guest authors put their one spin on the finale as well.
• Genius Bonus: Knowing about classical cartoons isn't necessary to enjoy the comic, but it can help with some of the more subtle gags.
• Harsher in Hindsight: The darker 1930 Nightmare Theatre strips can be very difficult to read in the light of Ricky Garduno's suicide.
• Ugly Cute: Diseasoid may be stunted, homely and riddled with parasites, but that doesn't stop him from being adorable.
