YMMV / Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans

• Creator's Pet: This game was the one that basically solidified Broly as one for the Hatedom half of the Broken Base surrounding him, as he's the Superboss for no reason whatsoever in a manner that comes out of nowhere and makes no sense, in a game that takes place years before the main characters could have ever even heard of him. It's not even like there weren't plenty of other viable candidates for Superboss-hood, including Garlic Junior, Wheelo, or Turles (among others). Making it even more galling for those who hate the character is the fact that he's by far the hardest fight in the game (which is fitting because, again, he's three sagas ahead of the power curve), and treated as the best possible fight the characters could have.
• No Problem with Licensed Games: It's a very fun and faithful adaptation of the transition from the original series to Z. Not to mention the Adaptation Expansion that makes the game that little bit more interesting.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament only has one fight fully adapted, and that's the Piccolo fight. While that is awesome, it's odd that the other matches were skipped in favor of going straight to the final fight, especially since four of the playable characters could have each gotten their own round.
