- Bile Fascination: If anybody ever takes an interest in this, it's usually to make fun of it or wonder just how differently Gundam as a franchise would have been received in the US had the show been picked up.
- Crosses the Line Twice: All of the other characters on the team get to transfer their minds into robots with legs. Meanwhile Cole, the one paraplegic kid, gets the only robot with tank treads instead of legs. That he's also the Twofer Token Minority and the only minority of any kind in the main group only further salts the wound.
