• Demonic Spiders:
  • Operator Orville, an Evil Counterpart to your troopers. He wears armor, carries an assault rifle, and is very, very lethal due to firing on full-auto while your troopers are stuck firing in bursts.
  • Juggernaut Jim, much like Orville wears armor and also carries an assault rifle, but is much more dangerous as his armor allows him to absorb more damage than other enemy types.
  • In 2, suicide bombers, especially if they catch you off-guard while clearing a building.
  • Foreign Advisors, as they carry assault rifles with AP ammunition, allowing them to make quick work of your troopers
  • True Believers, who are best described as suicide bombers and Foreign Advisors combined, being both deadly accurate with their AK-74s, and able to blow themselves up if badly wounded but not killed or if you get too close.
  • Medium & Elite Tangos, Despite rarely being encountered are dangerous due to their more specialized weapon choices and having a better general reaction time.
• Spiritual Successor: Action Squad is one to CT Special Forces, being counter-terrorism themed side-scrolling shooters.
